President's Day
Our presidents need much prayer during their tenure. This was Abraham Lincoln's prayer: "Oh, Thou God that heard Solomon in the night when he prayed and cried for wisdom, hear me. . . . I cannot guide the affairs of this nation without Thy help. Hear me and save this nation.'" Let us pray with our president today that God guide this nation to protect the innocent, guard the persecuted, and defend those who have been marginalized. Let us pray with our president for those without health care, for immigrants, and for those who need education.
