Pasta and Praise
This Saturday we praised God with song. Lenny and Sidran led our choir in choice music from Matt Maher and others. In the words of Matt Maher
"Underneath the shadow of the the Cross
You bore the cost
and Death is lost"

Catholicism 101
Can you really know enough about Catholicism? Maybe there are questions that you have. This spring term from April 19th until May 24th every Monday from 7:30 PM-8:30 PM we will discuss the spiritual practice and devotion of the Catholic Church. This includes the Mass, the saints, death and prayer amoung other things. This is for Catholics, former Catholics, returning Catholics and non-Catholics. All are welcome; just bring an open mind.
GALA
This Saturday we held our 9th annual Webfoot Gala. We were so happy to have Fr. Mike Fones, previous pastor, and Fr. Albert Felice-Pace, jubilarian, here to celebrate. Auction items included a week's stay at a condo in Portugal, a Magical Birthday party by Fr. Daniel, a dinner with Fr. David, and a hike and dinner with Fr. Augustine. We honored Fr. Albert for his fifty years as a priest with pictures of his time here at the Newman Center. Wonderful entertainment was provided by Kirstin Nusser and Samuel Adams, Elvis, and Mind the Gap. We thank all of you who came and look forward to next year's ten year anniversary. We are already planning a blowout celebration. We want to thank all those who were on the Gala planning committee, those who set up and cleaned up, the auctioneers and Emcees, Lenny Madarang for taking great photos, Essig Entertainment, the servers, parkers, and musicians who made this wonderful night possible.
