Hot Topic: Sex

During the school year we will be discussing many difficult topics involving Catholic teaching, personal lifestyles, and social concerns. Our first topic is sex. We will be talking about what sex means, learning about why the church teaches what it does about sex, and how those teachings can be applied to our modern world. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARGARET CASANOVA!

The Newman Center wishes a very happy birthday and blessings on Margaret Casanova. We celebrated with Margaret last week during the move-in day BBQ. Margaret Casanova along with her late husband Len, have a scholarship named after them. It is for students of the University of Oregon who participate in the Newman Center. We raise money for it during our Webfoot Gala every year. We are very happy to celebrate Margaret's birthday with her.
